Deir Al-Bala, Gaza-Israel hit a hospital in northern Gaza early on Sunday, forcing patients to evacuate with the intensification of attacks.
The strike before dawn struck Al -Ahly Hospital in Gaza City, after Israel issued a warning of the evacuation, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza. One patient died during the evacuation because the medical staff was unable to provide urgent care.

The hospital, which is run by the diocese of Jerusalem, was attacked on Palm Sunday, which celebrates Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem.
Hours later, a separate blow to a car was killed in Deir Al-Bala in the center of Gaza, at least seven people-six brothers and their friend-according to the employees of Al-Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital, who obtained the bodies.
Israel has said it struck a center for a leadership and monitoring that Hamas used in the hospital to plan and carry out attacks against Israeli civilians and soldiers, without providing evidence. He said before the strike, steps were taken to reduce harm, including the issuance of warnings, use of microfinance and air control.
The strikes came hours after the Minister of Defense in Israel said that military activity will expand quickly through Gaza and that people will have to evacuate “fighting areas.” On Saturday, Israel announced the completion of the Morge Corridor, as the southern city of Rafha was cut off from the rest of Gaza, where the army said that it would soon expand “strongly” in most small coastal lands.
The Israeli authorities pledged to pressure Hamas to launch the 59 hostages of the remaining, 24 believed to be alive, and to accept the conditions of the proposed new ceasefire.
The director of the Olaya Hospital, Dr. Vadel Nayem, said he was warned of the attack before being hit. In a post on X, he wrote that the emergency room, pharmacy and surrounding buildings were severely damaged, affecting more than 100 patients and dozens of medical staff.
The Ministry of Health said that the strike destroyed the pavilion for external patients and laboratories and caused damage to the emergency wing.
Medical facilities are often fire in wars, but fighters usually depict accidents such as accidental or exceptional, because hospitals have special protection under international law. In its 18 -month campaign in Gaza, Israel emerged by carrying out an open campaign against hospitals, which were besieged and raided, several times, in addition to hitting many others in strikes while accusing Hamas by using it as a cover for its fighters.

The Ministry of Health in the region said that last month, Israel struck Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, the largest in southern Gaza, killing two people, wounding others and causing a large fire. The attachment was drowning with the dead and wounded when Israel ended the ceasefire with a sudden wave of air strikes.
The war began after Hamas killed 1,200 people during October 7, 2023, an attack, most of them civilians, and took 250 people prisoners, many of whom were eventually released in ceasefire deals.
More than 50,000 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza so far in the retaliatory attack of Israel, according to the Ministry of Health there, which do not differentiate between fighters and civilians in their census, but they say that more than half of the dead are women and children.
