Nintendo shared more details about the nature of the backward compatibility of Switch 2 through Switch 2 Direct. Next, a list of games for the original key that might not work properly on key 2 was published. A set of follow -ups with the Switch 2 development team provided questions like what can be expected from Switch 2 ESHOP and how to buy original switch games work on the new console. Nintendo explained how Switch 2 promotions will work with, with games that contain the designated “Switch 2 Edition” version and those that will get free updates making smaller improvements.

Switch 2 Game Store and Nintendo Switch online
Nintendo specifically did not mention Switch 2 ESHOP during the month of April Nintendo Direct. There was a time in the video game industry when the new control unit generations were something from a clean menu, and consumers had to start again and buy new games for the new device. But those days have become the remains of the past, for Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony.
Xbox Series X supports | S Xbox One Games (and some Xbox 360 games and original Xbox), while PS5 supports PS4 addresses, along with PS3 and PS2 games by broadcasting, and only for a certain set of addresses. It is not a backward compatibility in the traditional sense of separation on the Xbox or old PlayStation disk in the new device. Instead, this is possible by pushing the video game industry towards digital. Many digital games purchased for one platform advanced to the following, and now Nintendo- which has also seen huge increases in digital games sales-joins Fold with Switch 2.
