
Harrison Ford, an actor known for his long and varied career, is set to receive SAG-AFTRA’s highest honor.
It’s a lifetime achievement award, which will be presented to him during the 32nd Annual Actors’ Awards on March 1.
“I am deeply honored to be selected as this year’s recipient of the SAG-AFTRA Life Achievement Award,” star wars The actor reacts to the honor.
“It means a lot to me to be recognized by my fellow actors. I have spent most of my life on film sets, working alongside amazing actors and crews, and I have always felt grateful to be part of this community.”
Meanwhile, in a statement, SAG-AFTRA President Sean Astin praised the actor, saying: “Harrison Ford is a unique presence in American life; an actor whose distinctive personalities have shaped global culture.”
“His career has been endlessly exciting, and he always returns to his love of acting. We are honored to celebrate a legend whose impact on our profession is indelible.”
During his career, which spanned more than six decades, he appeared in many successful films, including… star wars and indiana jones, And in critically acclaimed films such as fugitive air force, and What lies beneath.
He has also received numerous awards, including an Academy Award nomination for his performance in Witness.
Before Harrison, recipients of the award included A-list actors such as Mary Tyler Moore, Sidney Poitier, Betty White, Jane Fonda, Robert De Niro, Elizabeth Taylor, and James Earl Jones.
