When a video of Apple singing on stage at Cannery Hall went viral, social media users were quick to label her a Nebo kid, claiming she possessed none of her father’s talent as her performance was likened to a “drunken, off-key karaoke performance.”
One person wrote on TikTok: “Nepotism killed art,” while another commented: “Aren’t we tired of nepotism yet?”
Apple Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow have commented on this.
