Google Pixel 9A Review: All the phone you need

The transition to the POLED screen is provided with a few millimeters, giving designers a little more internal. In the past, Google has always pushed the pixel insomnia and insomnia, but kept the same thickness of 8.9 mm per pixels 9A. Instead of shaved millimeters, Google prepared the 9A pixels with a 5100 mAh battery, the largest ever in pixels, until the most large and most expensive pixel is overpowering.

The camera unit located on its back is located almost with the body of the phone, and it is barely rising a millimeter of the surrounding plastic. The phone looks more balanced and less heavy than three or four cameras installed on the chunted aluminum perimeter. The buttons on the right edge are the only disturbances of the clean lines of the phone. They are, also, from aluminum, with nice reactions, by touch and no swaying that can be detected. Regardless of some small weaknesses, the quality of construction and the general feeling of this phone is better than we expected for $ 499.

OLED 6.3 inches is slightly larger than last year, and keeps the most amazing edges of Google A-Series. While the main pixels are all a screen of the front, there is a large gap between the edge of OLED and the aluminum frame. This means that the body is larger than a larger than it was more likely – Pixel 9 Pro has the same width, which is slightly more tale, for example. However, the 9A pixel does not seem to feel big.

OLED is sufficiently sharp at 1080 pixels and has impressive high peak brightness, making it outdoors readable. However, the clarity of low magic is no less than what you get with more expensive phones such as Pixel 9 Pro or Galaxy S25. The screen supports update 120 Hz, but this is default. This painting does not use LTPO technology, which makes higher update rates more intense in the battery. There is a fingerprint underde fingerprint scanner, but it is not promoted to ultrasound with the main pixel units. This is still a visual one – it works quickly enough, but it illuminates the dark rooms and lacks reliability compared to ultrasound sensors.
