Google plans to a major change in how to develop new versions of Android operating system. From the beginning, large areas of the program were developed in the channels facing the public, but this will not be. This does not mean that Android gets rid of the roots of open sources, but the process will not be transparent.
Google Assure To Android salad that all Android development work will be done in the Google internal branch. This turned from the way Google has worked on Android in the past, which included frequent updates for the AOSP General branch. Anyone can access the AOSP, but the interior branches are only available to Google and companies that have a Google Mobile Services (GMS) license, such as Samsung, Motorola and others.
According to the company, this change takes place to simplify things, and to build a modern change to the development -based development. Since Google works on both the public and private branches of Android, the two are based on synchronization with regard to features and support for the application programming interface. This forces Google to merge the branches of each version. By focusing on the inner branch, Google claims that it can eliminate versions and make life easier for everyone.
Upon completion of new versions of Android, Google says it will continue to spread the source code in AOSP as always. This is supposed to allow developers to focus on supporting their applications without tracking the changes on the AOSP statute. Meanwhile, the original licensed equipment manufacturers can focus only on the vital internal branch because it works on devices that may take a year or more to launch.
