George Clooney has a confirmed way to stay away from trouble as a public figure in the social media age: Stay it.
In a profile for Washington Post Posted on Friday, an Oscar -winning actor said that he was able to avoid a lot of exposure to the media course on the 24/7 day by not engaging in these platforms, which he admits will be a problem “if I have three drinks at night.”
Also participate, “I don’t think you can be a star and be available.”
It was part of a larger conversation in which Clooney identified how some of the movie stars that came in front of him, such as Gregory Beck and Paul Newman – both of whom were friends before his death – they participated in carrying himself in the spotlight.
“This does not mean that you cannot be clumsy and do stupid things, but this means that defending the things you believe in, carry yourself with a little dignity,” said the star “Ticket to Paradise”. “Both of them were a great humor about themselves.”
Clooney, who is honored at the Kennedy Center this month alongside Gladys Knight and U2, among other things, has been active in humanitarian efforts as well as his endeavors as an actor, producer and director.
Ethan Hawk, who directed Clooney in the audio role Keniman in the documentary HBO “The Last Movie Stars” for this year, noticed that it is not surprising that he gets such a distinguished honor. (CNN and HBO Max are both part of the same parent company, Warner Bros. Discovery.)
“It is interesting that he gets the honor of the Kennedy Center this year because Newman also got it. They are suitable for a long series of really responsible artists, and people who contribute to American culture and civilian leaders,” Hook told The Post. “Whether you like George’s policy, or admire the place where he gives his money and time, you have to admire his willingness to lead, and his willingness to care.”
Stephen Soderberg, who performed a masterpiece in 1998, said the championship role in Clooney against Jennifer Lopez, that the actor is unique because of his lack of interest that his policies had been subjected to stardom.
“The virtual situation does not really lead you to a place to think of fairness, or defend people who cannot defend themselves. It is a wonderful thing when people use this juice for these purposes, but this is not the way the current flows,” said Soderberg.
“The flow flows in the direction of self -trend and the presence in the extraction of all that you can from this work, and anything you can from the world in general … It is one of the few people who pierce up. This is rare.”
Clooney will be shown as part of the Kennedy Center on December 28 at 8 pm on CBS.
