Funny natural pictures take the prize

Nikon Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards highlight the funniest animal pictures in the world. Shutterbugs Paul Joynson-Hicks and Tom Sullam participated in the establishment of the competition in 2015. The pictures that appear to show animals that play machines, try gymnastics, or do other funny human works. Joynson-Hicks realize that its animal images can create sympathy for animals by giving them human traits. The device is known as a model.

Photo detainees presented more than 9000 photos to the Nikon 2024 competition. The upper prize went to Milko Marchiti. His photo title is “Squirrel Stuck”. The image shows the back feet of a prominent red tab of the tree trunk. “I have taken many photographs of the Sinjab,” Marshiti says. “But this surprised me as a really funny funny. Because it is the exact moment when the squirrel is separated from his background legs from the trunk to enter it [nest]”

Stefan Maeer from Nikon Europe says Nikon hopes to inspire wildlife photographers in the future. Nature lover, Marketti called “great power to freeze a moment and make it continue forever.”
