Flip Foldables should not be vertical – why not be sideways?

Huawei Pura X does not work Android. Instead, it is the first Hoywi phone to run Harmonyos in Huawei next. It does not come to the United States. It remains to see if we get a phone like that, but personally I hope to do so.

A small phone opens like a book

I am writing these words on Galaxy Z Fold 6 currently connected to Lapdock as an alternative to my laptop. I buy Samsung phones to benefit from DeX, but I bought this phone in particular because I love the experience of opening the phone as if it was a book.

I feel fold as Z, like carrying a mileskine notebook made of glass. Sometimes I leave it slightly bent while reading, to increase the frequency of the book. There is something about the practical experience that provokes joy for me.

A small device like Pura X is slightly more tight, like the Galaxy Flip or Moto Razr, but it opens in a more satisfying way. I know that many enjoy nostalgia for an old Philip, but I was never a fan. I prefer a side movement to open a novel.

A very compact way to enjoy the video

Bora X opens an unconventional view of phones but is common elsewhere. At 16:10, this phone has the same percentage as many laptops and screens. This makes it the best suitable for watching movies and TV shows, which tend to be 16: 9.

This means that although you will still try some letters along the upper and lower part, there will be less.

A device like PURA X is one of the most aforementioned ways to enjoy a wide screen experience, even if the end result is not much greater than the traditional phone.

You can feel multiple tasks a little lower

Android had the ability to view two applications at the same time for years. On most phones, two apps usually appear above the other. It is embarrassing.

I have already used Splitscreen all the time on folding, and I have learned from the experience that applications like a calculator or watch do not need vertical space to be useful on the side.

The model factor is still great when rotating it vertically

You don’t have to carry Bora X horizontally. There is nothing that prevents you from rotating the phone 90 degrees and using it vertically instead. Even in this direction, I still think it will lead to a better experience.

When I pick up a heart like Moto Razr, I postpone the width ratio to an unusually height of the inner screen. I was never fans using a tall touch screen to do things, and the phones tend to be longer and more tight.

Pura X is a little shorter and wider. This is enough to make a noticeable difference when reading e -books. If Samsung releases a version of the S pen, this shape will make the phone feel like a notebook. Even just browsing the web looks better on a wider screen. It will not be nice like folding to read comic stories, but the show may be sufficient to be read.

This is actually a new thing

Most smartphones now feel the same. You may offer different programs and a little different specifications, but your choices significantly decrease to the panels in a few different shades and your choice of the camera’s stumbling block.

Bora X shows that there is still room for play and exploration. The folds of traditional smartphones have not supervised any angle of the world, but there are still much more options than the United States than we have here. This did not bother me much, because Galaxy Z Fold 6 remains my favorite. After seeing the Bora X, I really hope we will have more options. I hope someone will happen.
