Former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has offered a £15,000 reward for the safe return of his missing dog, Halo, who disappeared earlier this month in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.

The 10-year-old beagle was wearing a GPS tracker at the time of her disappearance, but the device stopped transmitting shortly after she disappeared.
Ramsay originally offered £7,500 for information leading to Halo’s return, later doubling the amount to £15,000 in a renewed appeal for help. “We are absolutely heartbroken,” he wrote on Instagram, alongside photos of Halo with his family. “She’s a big part of our lives, and we just want her home. Please, if anyone sees her or knows anything, contact us.”

The disappearance prompted local coverage and help from residents and animal welfare groups in Guanajuato, although no confirmed sightings have been reported. Ramsey’s club has allowed him to stay away from training for a while while he deals with what those close to him described as a “very disturbing” ordeal.
Ramsey joined Pumas UNAM earlier this year after leaving Cardiff Cityreturned to top flight football abroad after a distinguished career that included more than 350 appearances for Arsenal and key roles in three FA Cup victories.
Despite public appeals for the footballer and the large reward on offer, Halo remains missing, and Ramsey’s family have urged anyone in Mexico with information to come forward.
