It seems like Ed Kelsey noticed the troubling signs in Travis Kelce’s relationship with Kayla Nicole even before they eventually split.
A video of Baba Kelsey dissecting the relationship is currently going viral on social media, in the wake of the online controversy between the sportscaster and Taylor Swift.
Ed is heard in the clip saying: “Him [Travis] Just not ready to settle down. Unfortunately, I think it was. I think she’s tired of waiting. “I certainly will not advocate stability because the time has come.”
The father of two continued, “Actually, there was a point right after Jason got married when Travis was talking about, ‘Maybe it’s time to settle down,’ … but Kayla’s name wasn’t mentioned anywhere, and if this is someone that you want to spend your life with and is ready to get married and wants to settle down and start a family, that should have been the first thing out of your mouth. If your primary focus is not on the woman you’re going to marry, then don’t get married.”
However, Ed’s opinion on the current tight relationship between the Kansas City Chiefs and the pop star is completely different. In interviews after the couple’s engagement, he said he was instead urging his son to pop the question sooner.
Although the interview about Kayla and Travis was from a few years ago, it resurfaced due to the current social media drama involving Kayla, which led to her deactivating her X account.
