Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blant recently opened about their “quick friendship” before its launch Driving machine.

During an exclusive conversation at the 2025 International Toronto Film Festival on Monday, September 8, Blant participated: “We have become very fast friends, like an immediate secret language, and I think you feel it with some of the people you are working with. We have just talked and exchanged our lives. Quick, all these qualities.”

Johnson said: “I also want to give Emily also its flowers. It is one of the greatest actors of our time – in all ages. Also, one of my best friends,” Johnson said. “In order to go to the place we were going to, you must have love, and then you must have confidence. Love and trust and then allow weakness. We could not do it without this love, confidence and weakness that we have. I want to thank you, because you are greater.”
