Just before 5 p.m. Tuesday, Tulare County Sheriff’s deputies were called to an area near 236th Street in West Lindsay for a shooting.
When they arrived, deputies learned that a 23-year-old man was outside when a car stopped and someone inside the car shot him in the chest.
Deputies and emergency personnel attempted to provide life-saving aid, but the victim died at the scene.
Right now, TCSO homicide detectives are heading to the area to take over the investigation.
