Thursday marks the 16th day of Schumer’s shutdown. You might think Senate Democrats would have bigger concerns, like considering Majority Leader John Thune’s (R-SD) proposals. Show to vote On Obamacare extensions in exchange for a vote on reopening the government. Instead, Senate Democrats are upset by a new video recorded by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, which blames them for the government shutdown. Several airports have already refused to broadcast the ad, considering it “coercive.” But forcing us to watch CNN live? Not forced at all.

Now it’s ‘airport resistance’: Multiple facilities refuse to air Kristi Noem’s Schumer shutdown video
Therefore, they are planning an investigation into Noem placing these videos in US airports on the grounds that they violate the Hatch Act. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.)’s “Stolen Senator Valor” proves that these people aren’t serious; But the Americans You already know this.
I’m calling on Noem to stop her illegal video message, which is appearing on TSA screens at airports across the country, falsely blaming Democrats for the shutdown. It violates the Hatch Act, making travelers a prisoner of partisan propaganda. My message was joined by my equally angry colleagues pic.twitter.com/kzjvwpu5fn

Democratic senators claim that the Department of Homeland Security is potentially violating the Hatch Act by requiring airports across the country to play a video showing Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem blaming Democrats for the effects of the government shutdown.
“This appears to be a flagrant violation of Section 715, which provides that no portion of any funds appropriated in this or any other law shall be used by an agency of the executive branch of the branch… to prepare, distribute, or use any… film showing intended to support or defeat legislation pending before Congress, except as submitted to Congress itself,” Democratic Connecticut Sen. Richard Blumenthal wrote in The letter to DHS cited a section of the anti-lobbying law.
The Hatch Act restricts certain political activities by federal employees and certain state, Washington, D.C., and local government employees who participate or work in federally funded programs. Penalties for violating it include expulsion from federal employment, suspension without pay, demotion, or being barred from federal employment for up to five years, according to the Office of Special Counsel.
This is what concerns the Democrats and their crazy opposition. They even want memes posted by the White House mocking Democrats to be flagged as a violation of the Hatch Act.
This is a clear violation of the slot law but no one cares because it is actually one of the smaller laws this administration has broken pic.twitter.com/HrLRnbZ2MO

Here’s what The Hatch Act is supposed to do that.
The Hatch Act of 1939 is a federal law intended to limit the political activities of government employees. Its primary purpose is to ensure that the federal workforce operates in a nonpartisan manner, free of political influence or coercion. The law aims to prevent the use of official authority to influence election results and to protect civil servants from pressure to support specific candidates or parties. This framework helps maintain a system in which employment and federal advancement are based on merit rather than political affiliation.

Keywords here: influence, coercion, and election results. How can an ad that places blame where it is due, and outlines the repercussions we feel from this lockdown, become a form of influence or coercion? What elections is Noem supposed to influence? It’s complete nonsense. Invoking the Hatch Act has become a magic spell cast whenever elected officials do things a way someone doesn’t like, whether that official is a Democrat or a Republican.
The Hatch Act also lacks force, which is why Congress among Congress is trying to deepen its implementation mechanisms. So far, these efforts have failed. However, there were clear violations of the Hatch Act by Democrats. The Biden administration is the last and best example.
Former Biden adviser Neera Tanden, an admitted auto-unlock wizard, shows the extent of the Hatch Act’s abuse It actually looks like it.
In a complaint filed with the Merit Systems Protection Board on Wednesday, OSC alleged that Neera Tanden, director of the U.S. Domestic Policy Council, violated the Hatch Act by posting statements on social media soliciting donations to several different Democratic candidates in the 2024 general election despite being warned against such posts.
“Congress established a rule prohibiting all federal employees from fundraising for political candidates,” special counsel Hampton Dillinger said in a statement. “The Hatch Act contains no recourse for White House officials. In May, I made clear that my office would enforce the law as written.”
According to the complaint, Tanden repeatedly posted on social media asking people to donate to Vice President Kamala Harris and other Democratic candidates, even after the agency notified the White House last August that doing so was a violation of the Hatch Act.
Another member of Biden’s cabinet, HHS Secretary Re-election. The political playing field is clearly likely.
At the ceremony, Becerra received the 2022 American Dream Medallion and made remarks about the work of HHS and the Biden administration, which were reviewed and approved by HHS’s ethics attorney. After playing a short video about Becerra, identified as the 25th Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, Padilla presented him with the award.
“Once the video ended, Secretary Becerra thanked Senator Padilla for the award and, breaking from his prepared remarks, said: ‘To my brother, my friend, Senator, and the person I will be voting for in a little while but over a month, Alex Padilla, thank you so much, Senator, for being there for all of us,’ the report reads. We are proud to have you as a senator.” Some members of Becerra’s team were present at the ceremony and recorded these remarks. “In the recording, one of his staffers can be heard gasping after the secretary’s comments about Senator Padilla and saying, ‘No, no you can’t say that.'”
During the investigation, Becerra told the OSC that his statements were “unexpected” and reflected his “longstanding personal relationship” with Padilla. As for the voting portion of his statement, Becerra said, “I don’t think I ever thought of it as conveying anything more than what I would do as a responsible citizen in the near future.”
OSC was not affected.
“The explanations provided by Becerra do not help mitigate the release of this report to the President,” the report stated. The office also noted that Becerra has received “ample information” about the Hatch Act since taking office.
Then there are these simple examples that appear to cross the line, but are not outright violations. Like Congressman Eric Swalwell who promoted the “No Kings” rally on October 18 and sold his own merchandise.

While California Governor Gavin Newsom is not a federal employee or official, he is using his office to actively promote progressive and Democratic agendas. Imagine what he would do if he became president? Thought perished.
I urge our nation to use the “No Kings” marches this weekend as a declaration of independence against the tyranny and lawlessness that currently rules this country.
Use your voice. Act peacefully. Protect yourself and your community.

Meanwhile, Senate Democrats continue their hunting expeditions, looking for a crime they can pin on the Trump administration. One would think they would have learned by now, but that would be too much right.
The senators also asked DHS to provide information on the funding used to produce the video, including the cost, who approved the funds, whether anyone from the Trump administration was consulted about the video, and whether any outside contractors or organizations were involved in its creation to assess whether any federal laws were violated or funds were misused, according to the letter.
We expect this won’t go anywhere.
Editor’s noteSchumer closes here. Instead of putting the American people first, Chuck Schumer and the radical Democrats imposed a government shutdown of health care for illegal immigrants. They own this.
