David Beckham, a former football player who was considered to be more handsome, has recently collaborated with UNICEF to launch a global fundraising campaign aimed at improving children’s lives all over the world.
The 49 -year -old star and a proud father of four revealed the campaign on April 15, 2025, when he started a series of events for a month to celebrate its upcoming birth on May 2.
The Ambassador of Goodwill, UNICEF, has long participated in a statement: “We are witnessing a global financing crisis as the most vulnerable children suffer from our help.”
The campaign’s goal is to raise money to protect girls and young women from harmful practices such as child marriage, female genital mutilation, and abuse. However, it will also give them a chance to take over the social media to David, as they will share their personal stories and important work.
David continued in a video on Instagram: “Next month, I am 50 years old. It is a major milestone that made me think about the opportunities that I had and the experiences that formed me.
“When I look back, some moments came to have the greatest influence on me through my work with UNICEF.
“As a father of four amazing children, I know how good my family is to be safe and have access to education and health care.”
He added: “I have met children living in the most difficult situations around the world and saw what could happen when they are given the support they need to control their lives.
“Today, 25 years ago, my first visit to a women’s center in Thailand, the world is a very difficult place for children – especially girls.”
David joined for the first time to UNICEF as ambassador of goodwill in 2005, and he will be represented in 2025 years in this important role.
