David Beckham has nothing but full support for his wife, Victoria, and promised his fans that they will enjoy seeing her fun nature in her new Netflix docuseries.
The legendary footballer, 50, shared photos from the series’ premiere on Wednesday night, proudly describing it as a “special evening celebrating Victoria Beckham on Netflix”.
He added: “We love you so much and can’t wait for people to watch you and see what a warm, loving, hardworking person you are… We are so proud.”
For those unfamiliar, David released his own documentary on Netflix two years ago.
Now the doting pair are thrilled to share snaps on their Instagram account from the red carpet event at Curzon Mayfair, where the couple were joined by their sons Romeo, 23, and Cruz, 20, the latter’s girlfriend Jackie Apostel, 29, and daughter Harper, 14.
Not surprisingly, David and Victoria’s eldest son, Brooklyn, and his wife, Nicola Peltz, were absent amid an ongoing family feud that escalated after David’s 50th birthday.
However, while speaking at the premiere, Victoria thanked Brooklyn and her other children for their support.
She also expressed her gratitude to David for his unwavering support, joking that he convinced – and even forced – her to take the chance, saying: “You left me no choice, David.”
“My kids, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, Harper and David. Oh no, he’s not a baby. It took this process for me to realize that I was enough.”
She added: “This process really forced me to reflect on my journey and it was emotional.
“It’s been a year of intense therapy and it’s really made me realize a lot. I want to thank my mum, dad, brother and sister. I want to thank the Spice Girls, I love you.”
Meanwhile, Victoria expressed how proud she was to be with her family, sharing snapshots of the premiere on her Instagram account.
“I’m so proud of what we’ve built together and to be here with my family tonight. Thank you so much to the amazing people who worked so hard to make this happen. Love you all so much! x,” she wrote.
