Christina Haack is not staying silent amid subtle online criticism from her ex-husband Josh Hall.
After her release People magazine In a cover story earlier this month, Hall appeared to respond to Instagram by sharing a cryptic quote on October 1 that read: “Never argue with liars. You can’t win, ’cause they believe their own lies,” set to a Chuck Brodsky song. Liar bouncing, pants on fire.
In an interview published on October 15 with Virtual Sixth Page Reali-TeaHuck made it clear she wasn’t bothered. “I don’t even care,” she said.
“I’m not lying. For someone who claims they don’t want any attention — if it were me and I wasn’t in the public eye, I would make a private Instagram account and not be public… and then you wouldn’t read the news.”
“For someone who claims to be very masculine, maybe it’s not very masculine,” Huck added of Hall’s quote.
Huck and Hall, who married in 2021, finalized their divorce in August 2024 after filing for divorce in July citing irreconcilable differences.
In the interview with the outlet, Huck revealed previously untold details about their engagement: Hall threw the ring into the pool after initially rejecting his proposal at her former home in Dana Point.
“The first time he proposed, I said no, and he threw the ring in the pool. That was probably red flag number one,” she said. “When things were good, they were good…but I just said: ‘This is not the time.’”
A representative for Hall told the magazine, “Josh has no idea what Christina is talking about.”
Haack is now dating Chris LaRocca, CEO of Network Connex. Hall is currently in a relationship with model Stephanie Gabris.
