The Canadian Mexican voter is concerned about “the future for our children”
Welcome to Kingsville and Leamington, two cities in southwest Ontario, where I am reporting directly today on the CBC news network. These societies are the axes of greenhouse vegetable farmers, and I will have more to report it later today.
Leamington has a large Mexican community, partly due to farm workers who came to work here and remained. It has emerged in the taco Tony sandwiches and we met its owner Maria Hernandez, who migrated to Canada more than 30 years ago.
While serving delicious taco sandwiches and other authentic Mexican dishes last night for Mexican and Canadian customers, Maria shared what is going on in her mind during these elections.
“The future is for our children. We want all success to them,” said Hernandez, who has four descendants. She said that a clean environment was important for her, and it was one of the reasons that moved to Limmentton from Toronto.
In the trade war with the United States, Hernandez said Trump is looking for his country, and Canada must do the same. She took her mind as an vice, but she kept her special choice.
When I asked two of the different customers about what they wanted from Canada’s leaders, he determined his priorities, both of whom said they lived at reasonable prices.
“What happened to the family house consisting of two or three bedrooms for a few hundred thousand dollars, instead of the $ 800,000 monster homes?” Hillary Leibold said. “Yes, make homes, but make them available to everyone, not just one population all the time.”
