Bowen Yang makes a shocking announcement on Saturday Night Live

Bowen Young on SNL: “I’m leaving”

Bowen Yang, who was associated with Saturday Night Live For seven years, now announced the separation.

In an Instagram post, the SNL alumnus wrote, “I loved working at SNL, and most of all I loved the people. I was there at a time when so many things in the world were starting to seem pointless, but working on 30 Rock taught me the value of showing up anyway when people make it worthwhile,” he posted on his Instagram account with a collection of photos.

He says, “I’m grateful for every minute I was there. I learned about myself (bad with wigs). I learned about others (generous, vulnerable, sexy). I learned that human error can only be wrong. I learned that comedy is mostly logistical and that it usually fails until it doesn’t fail, and that’s for the best.”

Afterwards, the artist thanked his peers at the show, saying: “Thank you to everyone who showed up there: friends, co-workers, audience and hosts.”

Thank you to every cast member for making me laugh and cry. To Liz and Don. Tom, Jodie, Louie, Eamonn, and Chris, Eddie the Crow, Bugs, and Audrey, Jameson, Cassandra, and Chris for the funniest quick changes in all of showbiz.

I can’t believe I was included in that at all,” the star concludes before adding, “The show doesn’t go on because it’s ready, but shiiiit, I wish I was.”
