The legal dispute between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni over harassment during the filming of It Ends With Us is far from over.

According to the latest report of People magazineThe case received a major twist as the actress’s legal team sought sanctions against Justin Baldoni’s defense for “deposit misconduct.”

Legal filings state that Lively was questioned about her sexual history and showed a “fundamental lack of decency” during depositions provided by Baldoni’s lawyers, citing the Rape Shield Law.

The law is said to be designed to protect survivors of sexual assault or assault from being questioned about their sexual history in court.

“Throughout discovery, several defense attorneys insisted on raising objections, often to depositions they were not defending, and used up recorded time to insult and tirade,” Lively’s attorney, Michael J. Gottlieb, wrote.

Additionally, they allegedly asked opposing counsel to stop in a letter dated September 29 citing “inappropriate and unprofessional conduct.”

“Ms. Lively’s sexual and/or romantic history has no bearing on the matters at hand in this case and we will not tolerate such scrutiny,” they wrote at the time.
