Job security for Billy Nabir is in danger for the second season in a row.
No. 13 in Florida lost 18-16 to South Florida on Saturday in an amazing turmoil in the swamp, which may not be irreversible, given the difficult Gutors table in 2025.
This was the same place we were in last season after Gators 0-2 started with losses for Miami and Texas A&M. Florida has finished 8 to 5, and this appears to have gave Napir some room to 2025.
Now, Florida faces a hard climb to return to the competition. Napir is 20-19 with a 10-14 record in SEC, and Gators faces 3 LSU and 5 Mi-Miami in the next two weeks.
Gators has six other opponents in the schedule after that. Nabir bought some time by winning four of six games at the end of last season. Was it running out of that time on Saturday?

Dan Lanning, Oregon coach
Lanning, 39, may look like the second coming of Steve Sporier for Florida’s fans. It is 37-6 since he took over in Oregon-one of four schools with a victory rate of more than 85 % alongside Ohio, Georgia and Michigan. Laning is not afraid to take the strikes in other coaches, and learn as a defensive coordinator during the Kirby Smart era from 2019-21. Laning said repeatedly that he has everything he needs to win a national championship in Oregon, but will the Supreme Education Council’s appeal too much to wear?
Lin Kevin, the first Miss Trainer
KiFin, 50, found his training rhythm in Ole Miss, with a 46 to 18 years old, and he built a program that is unlike football in the college. Kevin learned from the previous exits in Tennessee and USC. I love it or hate it, KIFFIN can train the attack, work the transport portal and develop Qurtbbeck. He will be able to win Florida. Will he have a better chance to win a national title in Oxford or Gunmesville? This is a question that he will have to answer.

Good Fish, Washington coach
Fish, 48 years old, is good with Qurtubbere. Wakes were working with Noah Fifita in Arizona, and it would be a common option given that he went to Florida and GA was under Spurrier for two seasons. It has a good crossover background between the college and the American Football Association, and Washington’s departure to Florida will not be possible after only one season. Fisch is 24-29 as a major coach, but these are Spurrier roots that may make a difference in this research if Lanning and Kevin are not interested.
Elie Drabzitz, Missouri coach
Drinkwitz, 42 years old, will be polarized-but also has some advanced traits in press conferences that will play well in Gainesville in the first few seasons. Missouri was built in the 25 -year -old team, and this came with a strong use of the gate and the transmission gate. The Tigers and Gators team divided the last four meetings, and Drinkwitz built a supplementary team with an exciting crime and a strong defense. This is a formula that has worked in Florida in the past.
Lance Leibold, Kansas coach
Liepold scored a dominant record in Wissonsin-Witewater in the third section of 2007-14. It was 109-6 with six national tournaments. It is 61-62 between the tasks in Buffalo and Kansas, which may look great to think about programs. He can pair the cortresser with a powerful operating game, and in 61 years, there is time for another big step. Is this the best long -term option for Florida? Kansas 1-1 and a little faded in the last two seasons.
Alex Julich, South Florida coach
