Bill Murray appears to have a strong connection with basketball.
The actor returned to the highlight of March Madness during the weekend, but not for the usual alien – this time, there was a proud father.
the Ghostbusters Star Courtz was seen on Sunday, March 23, in the NCAA basketball game between the University of Connecticut and the first seeded Florida.
Although the fans may have wondered about the Hollywood icon to the big championship, the reason is simple, his son, Luke Murray, is the assistant coach of the men’s basketball team in Uconn.
Bell has been a familiar face in Uconn Games since Luke joined the training team, but this high MARCH MADNESS definitely turned to heads. Unfortunately, despite the presence of the legendary actor, Uconn fell on Florida, which brought them out of the NCAA championship while Florida advanced to Sweet 16.
This is not the first time that Bell appeared to support his son during the tournament.
In 2017, he was enthusiastic about the University of Kazavier when they were annoyed by the University of Arizona. At that time, Luke was an assistant coach for Xavier, and Bell was unable to hide his enthusiasm after the match.
“Oh, it was great. It was really like a wonderful family movie, you know like Dirty Dozen or something where a different man is there and saved backed pork for everyone. One one by one, all alternating all. It was fun seeing the victory,” Bell participated in an interview with Kazaviya Jamyei.
Unlike his father, who built a profession on comedy, Luke Murray is all business when it comes to basketball.
In an interview with April 2024 with Ct InsiderKeep it strictly focus on the game, and showed the disciplined approach that made it a respectable personality in training the university basketball.
Luke with Uconn was for four seasons after training in Luisville. The main coach Dan Hurley praised his contributions to the team, where he highlighted his experience and commitment to the success of the program.
Although this year March Madness Run may have ended for Uconn, one thing is confirmed: Bill Murray will always be there to support his son – whether on the sidelines or break jokes after the match.
