Amy Schumer is embracing a fresh start on Instagram.
The 44-year-old comedian surprised fans on Tuesday by deleting all of her previous posts and uploading one new photo.
The new post appeared in Train wreck The star glows in a red Valentino silk and wool mini dress with Chanel shoes.
“I actually left my house tonight. Who’s prouder?” she captioned the photo. “I feel good and happy. I deleted my old photos for no reason!”
Before making the announcement, Schumer shared a glimpse of her first Instagram post on her Stories, writing: “My first ever Instagram post. I’m going to delete them all, why not?”
The comedian’s social media reset comes on the heels of recent posts highlighting her ongoing weight loss journey.
On October 30, she uploaded a set of photos and said, “I feel strong and like myself.”
Schumer has been candid about her health experiences, including her “horrific experience” with Ozembek. She previously revealed that she would undergo liposuction in 2022, and later discovered that she carries the GDF15 gene, which makes her highly susceptible to nausea.
“So, I tried Ozempic about three years ago, and I was bedridden. I was vomiting — and then you had no energy. But other people take it, and they’re all good,” she said during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show in January.
In March 2025, Schumer shared that she had begun using another GLP1 drug, Monjaro, and described her results as “amazing.”
After revealing her diagnosis with Cushing’s Syndrome in 2024, she reaffirmed her commitment to advocating for women’s health, saying: “The shaming and criticism of our ever-changing bodies is something I’ve dealt with and witnessed for a long time… I want so much for women to love themselves and be relentless when they fight for their health in a system that typically doesn’t believe them.”
