On Friday, the Zoo on Facebook announced that this week, the Brokesfield Zoo has resulted in the splendor of the 30 -year -old Brown Bear due to its low health.
“Akchi’s inheritance is one of the flexibility, care and inspiration,” I read the garden post. “Our employees, volunteers, and countless guests will miss him.”
Akchi, along with his brother Al -Shibl, arrived at the Brucefield Zoo in 1995 at the age of 6 months, was saved from southeast Alaska after he killed their mother. Only this summer, the zoo celebrated the thirtieth anniversary to save Akchi’s arrival. Akchi’s brother, Jim, died nearly three years ago.
In recent months, AxHi’s health has been decreasing as signs of aging conditions exacerbated, according to the zoo, making it difficult to maintain the quality of his life. I remembered the AxHi Zoo for the comfortable fools that built every winter, and he was never ashamed to remind the employees when he wanted more food, and his fear because it is a pigeon underwater to restore a treatment.
“For those who care about it, Axhi will always be remembered as flexible, curious and very beloved,” said the zoo on social media.
As of Friday night, hundreds of comments were flooded with the garden post with memories and pictures of Akchi.
