Charlotte Morgario had no idea how much her life would change when she went on a girls’ vacation with her two best friends.
The mother was having a “wonderful” time relaxing at Butlin’s Holiday Resort, when a drunken stunt resulted in her sustaining a rib injury.
Still in pain when she returned home to Newport, she went to the emergency department, only to be told by doctors that they had discovered a 7cm cancerous tumor in her kidney and that she would need urgent surgery.
“It was a weird conversation because I thought I was fine,” she said.
