
The authorities said on Monday that the sister of the Minnesota player Timberolvs Naz Red died in a residential complex in New Jersey by her boyfriend, who was charged with murder.
Police went to the Paragon Apartment complex in Jackson at about 11 am on Saturday, after receiving reports on the shots. They soon found Touraya Reed, 28, who were not responding near the exit of the complex, and it appears that she had been shot several times. The officers Shakil Green, 29, also saw Jackson running on a nearby road, and he was detained without an accident.
Besides the number of killing, Green also faces two weapons charges. The police say that Reed and Jereen were in a “dating relationship”, but they did not provide more details.
Green remained imprisoned on Monday, and the general prosecutors did not know whether he kept a lawyer.
Naz Reed is a New Jersey citizen and a star academic player in his home mandate, on the verge of entering his seventh season with Minnesota and recently signed a five -year contract with the team.
