
Photography enjoys the ability to change the way we see the world, and the Photovogue Festival is a testament to it. Returning to Milan and digitally in the ninth edition from 6 to 9 March 2025, at the Milan base, this year’s festival will host the topic “Tree of Life: A Love Message to Nature”.
Through an emotional program for exhibitions, conversations and digital shows, the festival celebrates the role of photography in capturing the beauty and fragility of the natural world, while strengthening urgent talks on sustainability, climate change and our relationship to the planet.
“Art has the ability to inspire a meaningful change,” says Alicia Glaviano, president of photovogue and festival director. “This edition of the Photovogue Festival aims to enhance a deeper understanding of our decision with all living things and collective actions to protect our joint home.”
The festival includes many major exhibitions that explore the relationship between photography and nature, which include a work from some of the world’s greatest photographers, such as Bill Brandt and Annie Leipovitz.
Central Exhibition, Tree of Life: A Love Message to NatureThe work of 50 photographers and films were selected through an open international call. These artists offer a visual greeting to nature, focusing on both permanent but permanent strength. Their work picks raw beauty of landscapes, complex details of plants and animals, and the symbiotic relations between man and the environment.
Another important exhibition, Latin American panoramaThe vibrant and varied sounds of 42 photographers and video makers from Latin America. The choice includes contributions from BRISHISH VOGUE, Vogue Italia, Vogue Us and Vogue Japan, among other things, indicating how photographers and prominent models are formed about the role of fashion in environmental awareness.
Outside the exhibitions, the festival also includes Change treeA series of slices, videos and projects from organizations for environmental advocacy. The main contributions include depicting wildlife from the vital effects, the novel of overwhelming visual stories from Elizavita Boodina in cooperation with ATMOS, and films that focus on memorization like Ghost rain forest.
