I had no time to comment on Jeff Goldberg’s story about the cabinet in planning a military campaign to implement the signal. So some brief ideas.
To clarify what is clear, in any natural administration Higseth and Waltz at least it will disappear at the end of the day. So let me stipulate all the team. But I want to focus your attention on the fact that information security is not the only one, and perhaps not even the main issue.

The use of the signal application like this is to hide what is happening from the government itself. This is definitely not an unintended secondary product, but it is the same reason for use. These communications disappear. They will not be in the national archive. Future departments will not know what happened. There will also also be any records to determine whether the crimes were committed.
All this goes to the basic point that Trump was unable to accept: The United States government is the property of the American people and continues over time with individual office owners, just my temporary occupants who are neglected to manage an entity they do not have or own it.
I think this is exaggeration? This is clearly routine in the Trump administration. How many conversations of President Trump with foreign leaders occur in these applications? It is the clear place for bribes, different types of criminal behavior, and asks foreign governments to take dirty jobs, and perhaps against American citizens, that Trump does not dare to try himself.
The lack of operational security is bad. But the integrated plot against the government itself is worse.
