National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration projections show that a 10-foot sea level rise could have devastating effects.

This could put a number of Texas communities underwater. Affected areas could include Magnolia Beach, Port Alto, Olivia and those near the Colorado River, the Tribune reported.
