
Following the online backlash Jennifer Lopez faced following her “rude” behavior while filming Glambot at the 2026 Globes, Cole Walliser, the mastermind behind the slow-motion video setup, has broken his silence.
Cole cleared the air by taking to his Instagram account, revealing that the 56-year-old actress was “business minded” and was not rude at all.
“I didn’t take it personally. I didn’t feel rude in that moment,” Cole shared.
Sharing what was really going on behind the scenes, he pointed out some of the factors that fueled the uproar, “One, she’s bent over the job. The carpet has been drawn. She’s ready to walk in. She knew what she was going to do. She took over.”
Cole also explained: “It’s unfortunate that the situation was so far away from me. So I’m talking to her, and she’s looking away, but she’s getting ready for the move. At this moment, I’m not saying: ‘Hey, turn around and look.’ I knew what she was doing.”

Cole admitted that red carpet moments are usually a “really crazy environment.”
He concluded by saying, “I never felt like anyone was rude to me. I think people are at work. They’re in a hurry. The world is crazy, and I never take it personally.”
He also expressed his gratitude to the people who showed love and support for his work.
