Sophie Turner has spoken about her career journey after becoming a mother.

As fans know, Turner made her acting debut as a teenager as Sansa Stark in the HBO series game of thrones.

Speaking to The Guardian, Sophie recently opened up about her journey as a mother, saying it took her some time to gain “momentum” in her career with increased responsibility.

“It’s really nice. I don’t have to worry about my body clock and all that stuff,” she began.

For those who don’t know much, Sophie Turner has two beautiful daughters, Willa and Delphine, born in July 2020 and July 2022, respectively, with her ex-husband Joe Jonas.

“It felt like the right break to focus on me, because I’ve been in character for so long. Being at home was great. But the other side of it, and it wasn’t helped by Covid, is that this was a big break from the profession.”

Furthermore, Turner admitted that the return to the industry was not entirely smooth, as the time spent away hindered her professional rhythm.

“I tried to rebuild in a way. You don’t realize how important momentum is in a career, and I put it on hold a little bit,” she concluded.
