
Gaten Matarazzo took a trip down memory lane and had a blast Strange things Creative people.
In a new chat with GQ Magazinereflected the acting sensibility of working with the Duffer brothers, Matt and Ross, and highlighted the care and caution they showed while working with a younger cast.
“I felt like they were okay with intentionally creating a meta moment there,” he began.
Matarazzo also said, “A lot of the talk about the show is centered around us acting in it throughout our childhood.”
“And the stigma that comes with the experience of child actors and what happens in an industry like this when kids are involved, which could not be more true.”
Appreciating the creators’ approach, he said, “And Matt and Ross were always so careful and loving and caring about us, to make sure we did it in a very healthy and safe professional environment,” after which he logged out of the chat.
Gaten Matarazzo is set to star in an untitled Hulu college comedy, where he also serves as an executive producer.
