Big Brother host Julie Chen Moonves mourns the passing of Mickie Lee!

The 55-year-old TV personality took to her Instagram account on Friday and paid tribute to a houseguest close to her heart.

“A couple of months ago I interviewed Mickey Lee on God 101. That’s when she revealed to me that she was born with a hole in her heart, and as an adult she survived an ATV accident that should have killed her, but God kept her alive,” Julie wrote.

She further wrote: “Last night God brought her home. Rest in peace dear Mikey. I will see you again on the other side forever.”

The reality TV host added: “I pray that God will comfort you and heal your family and loved ones as we mourn your loss. Amen.”

Mickey, who appeared in season 27 of the reality show Big brotherHe died on Thursday, December 25, following multiple cardiac arrests. She was 35 years old.

Her family announced her death on Friday via social media.

“Mickey has captured the hearts of audiences across the country through her appearances on Big Brother, where her authenticity, strength and spirit have left a lasting impression on fans and fellow cast members alike,” the statement read.

They added: “She will be remembered for the joy she brought to the lives of so many and for the genuine connections she formed both on screen and off.”
