Nuñez’s attorneys said federal agents were blocking the building’s driveway, and noted that Nuñez moved the car only one block away. The SUV was reportedly returned to customers within 13 minutes. Nunez faces up to 10 years in prison.
Miller was angry at the ruling In a post on X Sunday. “Another example of blatant jury abolition in a blue city. The justice system relies on a jury of peers who have a common system of interests and values. Mass immigration makes the entire legal system tribal,” he wrote.
Naturally, there was no evidence to suggest that the verdict was called “jury nullification.” This is the latest in a series of weak cases brought by the Trump administration against protesters and civilians linked to immigration detentions.
