A brawl broke out between the Eagles’ captains after the two-point conversion

The Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders took their game to another level on Sunday, after the Eagles’ two-point conversion late in the game at Commanders Northwest led to the two teams getting into a brawl.

Backup running back Tank Bigsby made a 22-yard touchdown run, putting the Eagles ahead of the Leaders, 27-10. Eagles coach Nick Sirianni then opted for a two-point conversion and it worked when Saquon Barkley ran across the left side of the offensive line, according to Euronews.com. Sports Illustrated.

Barkley was left pressing the leaders to return to his team, but things escalated.

It wasn’t long before the teams began clashing amid a hail of yellow flags.

He watches:

Three players ended up being sent off from the match. Leaders defensive lineman Javon Kinlaw, Washington safety Quan Martin, and Eagles offensive lineman Tyler Steen ended up heading to the showers.

The win sent the Eagles to the playoffs with the NFC East title. In fact, Philadelphia is the first NFC East team to win the title in back-to-back years since the Eagles did the same from 2001-04.
