Meghan Markle and Prince Harry sparked controversy last month when the couple asked Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian to delete photos of the royal couple from their Instagram accounts.
The photos were taken on the 70th birthday of Kris Jenner, who had invited the Duke and Duchess of Sussex among the Hollywood celebrities on November 5.
Rumors of a feud between Meghan, Chris and Kim began circulating after photos were removed from the mother-daughter duo’s Instagram accounts.
In order to quell the rumours, on November 10, Meghan Markle liked Kris Jenner’s photos on Instagram from her birthday party, something former “suits” rarely do. But the photos did not show Harry and Meghan.
Meanwhile, some media outlets reported that the Duchess of Sussex politely asked Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian to remove her photos, which she obliged without any offense.
Later, Kris Jenner responded to Meghan’s gesture on social media by liking the Duchess of Sussex’s Instagram post featuring a behind-the-scenes video of her November 20 Harper’s Bazaar photo shoot.
However, Meghan and Kris Jenner’s recent social media activity suggests there are some problems in their relationship.
The Duchess of Sussex did not respond to Kris Jenner’s post celebrating her grandson Saint’s birthday on December 5, something that went unnoticed by Kim Kardashian and her mother.
Notably, Kris Jenner, who is often prominent among those who like Meghan’s Instagram posts, has avoided interacting with the Duchess of Sussex’s posts shared on the platform since Harry’s wife ignored her grandson’s birthday post.
Kim Kardashian’s mother also didn’t like Meghan Markle’s latest Instagram post, which featured her husband and two children, Prince Archie and Lilibet.
Meghan Markle and Kris Jenner’s social media activities clearly show that their relationship has soured since the mother-daughter duo removed photos of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, although both sides have subtly made efforts to keep things unchanged between them.
