Pete Davidson and his girlfriend Elsie Hewitt are officially in full baby bliss mode after welcoming their daughter Scottie Rose.
According to a new report from Us WeeklyThe couple recently became first-time parents and are enjoying every moment while adjusting to their new roles.
A source close to the duo revealed that Scottie was born in New York, and described the past week as a “whirlwind.”
“It’s been a whirlwind week, but they are obsessed with their baby girl and the moon,” the insider shared.
“They want to raise them in upstate New York, where they have more privacy and normalcy, and feel closer to the suburbs.”
The quieter pace of life away from the limelight is said to have had a calming effect on Saturday Night Live alum.
According to the source, the upstate environment brought Davidson, 31, “a lot of peace,” as he and Hewitt learned the ropes of parenthood together.
While they’re still having sleepless nights and new routines, the insider noted that the couple makes a “good team.”
“They have their hands full and are still figuring out parenting day by day,” the source added.
Meanwhile, a separate source said People magazine That Hewitt faced an unexpected obstacle almost immediately after giving birth.
Just one day after giving birth, she reportedly had her wisdom teeth removed.
The source said: “Elsie is doing well now and feeling much better since taking care of her teeth,” adding: “It was an unexpected whirlwind straight after giving birth, but she handled it like a champ.”
