The Norwegian controls target the meat and fish sector

A series of inspection reports were recently published by authorities in Norway.

In one of them, the Norwegian Food Safety Authority (Matelsenet) conducted inspections on companies that produce ready-to-eat meat products, such as cooked pork chops and cured sausages.

The Norwegian Food Safety Authority audited 83 sites between May 2024 and May 2025.
