Katie Holmes is reportedly keeping things casual when it comes to her rekindled relationship with Joshua Jackson.
According to a new report from Star MagazineThe actress, who was previously married to Tom Cruise, feels quite comfortable embracing a low-pressure romance with her ex-husband Dawson Creek Co-star.
“Katie is enjoying the trip,” a source told the outlet of the duo, who first met in the 1990s while starring in the beloved teen drama.
The insider added that spending time together was a refreshing change for Holmes.
“She says spending time with Josh makes her feel alive again and she doesn’t want to close that down just because she can’t have him.”
However, the 46-year-old’s inner circle are said to have some reservations. Friends are reportedly “concerned that she has been hurt” before Dr. Odyssey alum, 47, citing his history of commitment issues.
“Katie admits she’s not immune to jealousy,” the insider continued, noting that Jackson has been spotted with several women since his split from Jodie Turner-Smith earlier this year.
However, the source reported that Holmes appears willing to take the emotional risk.
As the source concluded: “But she says it was worth pushing herself out of her comfort zone — that’s how happy Josh is with her.”
