Corey Feldman just denied that he accused Corey Haim of harassing him.
He speaks in a new documentary Corey Feldman vs. the worldthe 54-year-old star appears to be making allegations against his late The Lost Boys co-star.
“But you know, when you have someone trying to sexually assault you, and you don’t want to, and you’re a child, and you’re afraid,” he said in the doc.
“You do everything you can to prevent it from happening, and that’s what was happening. I was harassed by Corey Haim. Truth be told,” he admitted at the time.
However, Feldman claimed the documentary misrepresented his comments and said through his legal team that any claim that Haim “harassed” him was “in reference to Mr. Haim’s advances, not physical harassment.”
His legal team said Us Weekly In a statement: “Mr. Feldman had no role in the documentary Corey Feldman vs. the World. The film’s producers produced the film without Mr. Feldman’s knowledge and obtained the footage through dishonest means. Mr. Feldman is investigating the source of the footage, the producer’s alleged rights to it, and the role of his name, image, and likeness. Mr. Feldman plans to pursue all legal options available to him once his investigation is complete.”
They continued: “Any article relating to the alleged comment that Mr. Feldman claims that Corey Haim “harassed” him is a sensational misrepresentation of the statements made in the film. Mr. Feldman’s statement was made during the filming of the film.” Lost Boys Mr. Haim sought to “mess with” Mr. Feldman, but Mr. Feldman did not reciprocate his attempts and contacted another party on Mr. Haim’s behalf.
The team concluded that “Mr. Feldman’s statement that Mr. Haim ‘harassed’ him was in reference to Mr. Haim’s advances, not physical harassment. The film and any other current articles about this case distort the truth and context of Mr. Feldman’s words and story. Mr. Feldman does not claim that Corey Haim ‘physically harassed’ him.”
