
Harrison Ford will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award from SAG-AFTRA in March!
This is in recognition of his six-decade career and the global impact he has made through television.
Sean Astin, the association’s president, praised Ford as “a unique presence in American life; an actor whose distinctive personalities shaped global culture.”
He added: “We are honored to celebrate a legend whose influence on our craft is indelible.”
The 83-year-old star will receive the Life Achievement Award on March 1 at the 32nd Actor’s Awards, presented by the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.
Ford has many iconic roles and became a global star as Han Solo in 1977 star wars, He reprized the role several times as the first film became a franchise.
As the adventurer archaeologist Indiana Jones, he launched another franchise in 1981 with Raiders of the Lost Ark. He starred in two Blade Runner Movies like Rick Deckard, along with a whole list of TV roles.
Over the years, Ford has received numerous awards, including the Critics’ Choice Career Achievement Award (2024), Golden Globes Cecil B DeMille Award (2002), AFI Life Achievement Award (2000) and more.
Expressing his gratitude, Harrison Ford said, “I am deeply honored to be selected as this year’s SAG-AFTRA Life Achievement Award recipient. It means so much to me to be recognized by my fellow actors. I have spent most of my life on film sets, working alongside amazing cast and crew members, and I have always felt grateful to be part of this community.”
