Idris Elba is “honored” to have his wax statue in Madame Tussauds.

The award-winning actor is the latest star to roll out the red carpet at London’s Wax Museum.

And from Friday, he joined a star-studded group of wax figures, including actress Gillian Anderson, actor Timothée Chalamet, and pop stars Lady Gaga and Harry Styles, in the awards ceremony area on Baker Street.

“It’s a real honor to be honored in this way, and more importantly to know that this other version of me will stand tall in London. So, even when I’m away, a part of me is always home,” Idris said.

He added: “The process has been amazing. It’s no different from preparing for a role in a movie – working with talented artists to embody the character, getting the right costume, but this time it suits me!”
