OnePlus has always been at the forefront of Android flagship phones, and the OnePlus 15 is no different. It’s one of the first Android smartphones on the market with the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, which will likely appear in many other flagship Android phones, including Samsung devices, starting in 2026. If you want to get a head start on this powerful new chip, the OnePlus 15 is your phone.

The 8 Elite Gen 5 pairs with 12GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM or 16GB LPDDR5X Ultra+ RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage for blazing-fast performance.

I’m impressed by the OnePlus 15’s battery life, but it’s not what keeps me going

I had no idea a phone could have a battery this large in such a small package.

OnePlus promises that the phone can achieve a stable rate of 120 fps in games like Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. It’s incredibly smooth performance, perfectly complemented by the stunning 6.78-inch 165Hz LTPO AMOLED display.

Another notable feature of the OnePlus 15 that is not commonly seen in most other flagship phones is its water and dust resistance up to IP69K. This means the phone can withstand high-pressure water jets at temperatures up to 176°F (80°C).

I still don’t want to take it into the bathroom, but it’s reassuring to know that it has a good chance of surviving an occasional cycle in the washing machine. And I can’t believe I’m saying this, but please, don’t intentionally throw your phone in the washing machine to test these claims.

OnePlus hasn’t renewed its camera partnership with Hasselblad this year, but the cameras are still very strong. Each of the three cameras uses a 50-megapixel sensor, including the large main camera, 3.5x optical zoom, and 116-degree zoom.

We also can’t talk about the OnePlus 15 without mentioning its ridiculous 7,300 mAh silicon-carbon battery, which can easily get you through an entire day without a charger. If you need to charge, the OnePlus 15 supports up to 120W (80W in the US) fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging with an AIRVOOC charger. Its battery game is on point, as always.

Now that the OnePlus 15 is finally available in the US, it’s the perfect time to place your order. OnePlus is offering a trade-in bonus of up to $100 for phones, tablets, smartwatches and other devices.

Better yet, you can now choose a free gift alongside your phone, including a steel version of the OnePlus Watch 3 ($300 value), OnePlus Buds Pro 3 ($180 value), or OnePlus AIRVOOC 50W magnetic charger ($80 value). In my opinion, the Watch 3 is a better pick, it’s the most interesting and valuable device on the list, and a great smartwatch to start with.

The OnePlus 15 features the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC that enables gaming features never before seen on a smartphone. The 165Hz display is ideal for mobile gaming, and when you’re not gaming, it runs at 120Hz, making it ideal for everyday use. The triple camera array is pretty impressive, and the 7,300mAh battery lasts for days on a single charge.
