A team from Joint Task Force Southern Spear struck a terrorist drug vessel transiting a known Pacific drug corridor, killing four militants but causing no American casualties, according to a post Wednesday night. On X By US Southern Command (SOUTHCOM).

Joint Task Force Southern Lance conducted a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel operated by a designated terrorist organization.

The attack occurred on Wednesday in international waters along a known drug smuggling route in the eastern Pacific Ocean. The War Ministry said that four drug terrorists were killed.

No US military personnel were harmed.

The operation began under the direction of Secretary of War Pete Hegseth after intelligence had verified the ship’s mission.

Joint Task Force Southern Spear was created to help unify Navy, Coast Guard, intelligence and special operations assets to quickly strike time-sensitive targets at sea.

Fox News confirmed that 98 casualties have resulted from these strikes since they began on September 2.

The Pentagon has not revealed the identities of the four drug terrorists killed or the specific terrorist organization involved.

The War Department did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
