As the government shutdown continues, delays are increasing at airports across the United States, with more than a thousand flights canceled on Friday. It comes as the Trump administration ordered airlines to reduce flights by 4% at 40 high-traffic airports in response to the government shutdown and increasing pressure on air traffic controllers.
