Rosie has officially made Grammy Awards history.
28 years old Blackpink The singer became the first Korean idol to have a song nominated in the six main general categories of the Grammy Awards – Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best New Artist, Producer of the Year (Non-Classical), and Songwriter of the Year (Non-Classical).
Rosé and collaborator Bruno Mars received nominations for Record of the Year and Song of the Year for their single. APTalong with a nod for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
This achievement cements Rosé’s position as one of the most globally recognized K-Pop artists of her generation.
“I have goosebumps right now,” Rosie said. Hollywood Reporter Earlier this year when asked about the possibility of making history. “I think it will be a moment that proves to myself a lot of things that I grew up doubting. I think if this happens, it will mean a lot more to people than me. It will prove a lot to me as well. It will just be a moment of celebration for everyone who believes in it.”
In addition to receiving a Grammy Award, Rosé won Song of the Year at the MTV VMAs APTwhich spent an impressive 45 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100.
The song appears on her debut solo album Rosé, released in December 2024, which debuted at number three on the Billboard 200.
