Lie-Able Sources Podcast: Many examples of the Justice Department being weaponized under Biden. His enemies

An apparently troubled Cruz described attempts to target his phone records, as well as the communications of his colleagues, as “a digital Watergate of the 21st century.”

this Selling at less than its price That is, if we’re being honest.

“This was intentional and targeted political espionage, likely reaching the highest levels of the administration. There must be investigations and accountability as broad as possible,” he wrote on X.

The document, reviewed by Axios, was an extensive search of names and addresses, along with “detailed logs of incoming and outgoing calls, text messages, direct contact, and voicemail messages” associated with Cruz’s cellphone between January 4 and 7, 2021.

This is the clear weaponization of the Department of Justice under President Biden. It will pass without a peep of recognition from the “no kings” on the left.

Senator Hawley has previously responded to reports that his phone records have been searched with the right level of anger.

“Biden’s Stasi, which claimed to be saving our sacred democracy, actually worked overtime to destroy it — all for power. They spied on Catholic churches, prosecuted pro-lifers, deployed the FBI against parents at school board meetings, and attempted to wiretap the phones of their political enemies. Including me,” he wrote on X.

“This is an abuse of power that goes beyond Watergate, goes beyond J. Edgar Hoover, and strikes directly at the Constitution, the separation of powers, and the First Amendment.”

Hawley called for the prosecution of those involved in trying to trace his and his colleagues’ communications.

House Judiciary Committee last week He called Smith to testify About what they called “abusive surveillance.”

“As special counsel, you are ultimately responsible for prosecutorial misconduct and constitutional violations of your office,” Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) wrote.

But, as Cruz noted, it will likely go even higher.

Smith led two spectacularly failed investigations into Trump over election interference and classified documents, and is now being investigated by the US Office of Special Counsel (OSC) for possible violations of the Hatch Act.
