Aaron Vipers has spoken out after his arrest in Los Angeles, claiming that the accusations made by his estranged wife, Denise Richards, were completely false.
The 53-year-old was remanded in court following a hearing relating to Dennis’ restraining order against him.
His representative confirmed that he was arrested near the end of the court session on October 17, and was later released on bail.
In a joint statement with Us WeeklyHaroun’s team insisted that he was innocent. “We believe the charges are based on the same false accusations that Denise raised in the domestic violence case, which she says occurred approximately four years ago,” the statement read.
“We expect the evidence to prove Aaron’s innocence and for him to be acquitted.”
Dennis’ attorney told the outlet that Aaron is accused of spousal abuse and according to witnesses, the actor appeared surprised when officers approached him in court and took him away.
Denise, who was present during the arrest, reportedly remained calm as she spoke with her legal team.
Aaron’s attorney, Michael Finley, said his client was detained because of an old warrant that may be linked to the abuse allegations.

For people who are unaware, Denise, 54, publicly accused her estranged husband of domestic violence earlier this year.
