One Direction fans are eagerly waiting to hear an official announcement of the reunion.
Earlier this month, reports revealed that Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik had teamed up for a three-part Netflix series, which will be a documentary about a US road trip.
According to the synopsis shared by the former One Direction singers’ reps, “the series is a rare look inside the world of two of the most famous and private men on the planet as they talk about life, loss, and fatherhood.”
Meanwhile, sources also claim that the series will discuss the tragic death of their bandmate, Liam Payne.
Since then, the project was announced, and fans have been wondering if Harry Styles and Niall Horan will be joining Louis and Zayn.
Fans suspect that Horan and Styles may not join due to their long-standing feud with Malik that led to his unexpected departure from the band in 2015.
Someone wrote online: “Why didn’t Harry and Niall join? Do they have a problem with Zayn?”
As of now there is no confirmation yet if the other two members will be part of the new documentary.
However, there is a possibility that they may secretly join the project.
Niall Horan hints at a One Direction reunion:

But Niall never signed himself, instead opting for an engraved ring. Unfortunately, that band was missing from his finger last year when he did his “The Show” tour.
Just days before the one-year anniversary of Payne’s death, the 31-year-old was once again spotted wearing the ring on multiple occasions such as unofficial home jamming sessions or the recent Ryder Cup held in late September 2025.
This could be taken as an indication that he is ready for a One Direction reunion.
Harry Styles’ expected return next year:

Given that the new documentary is set to be released later that same year, there’s a possibility that Harry will join Zayn and Louis and secretly film the new three-part series once he returns to work.
