As I wrote earlier Saturday, Vice President J.D. Vance was on hand to deliver remarks to an enthusiastic crowd of Marines at a ceremony celebrating the 250th birthday of the U.S. Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton in California.
But he did manage to find time before arriving at the base to offer his thoughts on the latest revelations about Zahran Mamdani — the man Democrats are pushing to become New York City’s next mayor.

In case you missed the latest, here’s Bonchi to update us on Mamdani, who in recent days has seemed to abandon any pretense of being anything other than obsessed with extremist Islamic thought:
Today at Al-Taqwa Mosque, I had the pleasure of meeting Imam Siraj Wahhaj, one of the country’s most prominent Muslim leaders and a pillar of the Bed Stui community for nearly half a century. CM has also joined me @dr_yusefsalaam Harlem. Beautiful Friday. pic.twitter.com/4kcN4CGlUk

Who is Imam Siraj Wahhaj? This is a complicated question, not because his background is morally ambiguous, but because his history of direct support for Islamic terrorism is so clear. vast.
1) He was an unindicted conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
2) He called for the establishment of an Islamic state in America, and called on Muslim immigrants to “establish the religion of God.”
3) He called for the end of democracy in favor of Islamic law.
4) He testified in his defense Omar Abdul Rahman, known as “The Blind Sheikh.”
5) He repeatedly encouraged Muslims to use political power in America to serve Islam.
6) He has three sons accused of terrorist crimes.

The Democrat’s social media post on Friday came after months of campaigning, with only a few major national Democrats willing to endorse Mamdani. When the media is confronted with persistent questions about Mamdani’s outright refusal to condemn Hamas and extremist Muslims, the result is often little more than a jumble of rhetoric like what Democratic National Committee Chairman Ken Martin uttered in July.
However, in a post on his
I’ve been reliably informed that Democrats oppose any kind of political violence, so I look forward to them universally condemning Zahran Mamdani for campaigning with an unindicted co-conspirator in a terrorist plot that killed 6 New Yorkers. pic.twitter.com/opk2er6BnB

“I have been reliably informed that Democrats oppose any kind of political violence, so I look forward to universal condemnation of Zahran Mamdani for campaigning with an unindicted co-conspirator in a terrorist plot that left 6 New Yorkers dead,” Vance wrote.
In response to the tweet, he shared a New York Post story about the extremist imam and that damning photo of him campaigning with Mamdani. The headline explains things: “New York Post: Mamdani is shown smiling, arm in arm with unindicted 1993 World Trade Center bombing conspirator and terrorism apologist.”
Vance is not wrong here. This is certainly not something Democrats want to address, and there’s only one reason why. They cannot solve the cycle of political violence because it exposes what we know and they know about the far left of the Democratic Party. It is the main source of the recent politically-related violence that everyone has witnessed. Unfortunately for them, they were thrown into the same sector of their base – as a strategy to ensure their future survival as a party. This is not exactly a problem for conservatives to worry about.
